KNIPEX Tools LP is based in the Chicago suburb of Buffalo Grove, Illinois. From this location, it supports all North American markets with a professional sales, marketing and administrative staff along with warehouse logistics.
KNIPEX specializes in the development and production of high-quality pliers and is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of these products.
KNIPEX is an independent fourth-generation family company, founded in 1882 when C. Gustav Putsch set up his own forge shop in Cronenberg, Germany (now a suburb of Wuppertal).
The company focuses on basic and advanced training of its employees to assure the best quality, innovation, and efficiency of its pliers.
