NAED has been helping to facilitate a conversation amongst members about the need to fix gaps in the capabilities of existing ERP systems. The group identified nine functional areas for services:
- industrial automation
- building automation
- wire cutting
- customer training
- light manufacturing – custom products
- storage and staging
- onsite trailers
- onsite job boxes
- fixture carts
The group working on fixing those gaps is approaching Epicor and third-party development companies about potential solutions. We are including a whitepaper the group created to give you more background into the effort.
NAED would like to get support from as many members as possible to help show developers the value this project could have for the industry.
