Here It Comes: NAED Discusses the Upcoming Election

Whether we like it or not, the upcoming election is one of the most hotly debated subjects in the country right now and might possibly be one of the most contested in American history.

Beginning in October, NAED’s Senior Vice President of Government Affairs & Strategic Projects, Ed Orlet, and Ian Reynolds, NAED’s General Counsel, will break down the 2020 election by hosting a series of short videos to guide you through the election season.

Orlet and Reynolds will focus on the potential big moves or changes in the House, the Senate, and with the Presidential race. Further videos may discuss any hot-button items such as the electoral college, a possible contested election, COVID-19 relief packages, liability protection, and tax reform.

Find out how some of these items will affect the electrical distribution industry and your bottom line. We’ll also give you contact information for more resources.

About a week after the election, NAED is planning a 3-hour, live election wrap-up webinar that will explain the impact of the vote on you and the supply chain. The association is tracking down experts from other trade associations, plus economists to break down what the results mean for you.

The election videos will be posted on NAED's YouTube channel throughout the month of October, so be sure to check back here for updated videos.
