On July 4, President Donald Trump signed into law the reconciliation package, informally known as the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”  NAED's Director of Government Relations, Bud DeFlaviis, has been tracking this and other items coming out of Washington, D.C.

• Several tax-related provisions important to NAED members were included in the final legislation of the Reconciliation Bill (aka the "One Big Beautiful Bill"). 
• The Veterans Energy Transition (VET) Act was introduced in Congress.
• New liability legislation was introduced to protect manufacturers in the critical manufacturing sector.
