Seeking Strong Leaders

Written by NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTORS | November 12, 2020

Now more than ever we need strong industry leaders. Strong leadership is not about having one right way of communicating, behaving, or working with others. It is about taking your own unique strengths and leveraging them in a way that works for you and your organization. In 2020, NAED launched the inaugural class of the Leadership Development Program designed specifically for our industry.  This unique program offers educational content, case studies, coaching, assessments, and a personalized capstone project over the course of a year to really bring these leaders’ full circle.

“I absolutely would recommend this course to anyone that wants to further their leadership skills! The reason that I think this course is so beneficial, is you get a good look into the mirror and find out what your weaknesses really are. And then you learn how to build these skills up. Therefore, you come out on the other side, with stronger leadership skills that you can use in your career and become a better person.”

The NAED Leadership Development Program is currently accepting applications for the 2021 class.  We have put together a hybrid schedule that allows for future face to face meetings if it is safe to travel later in 2021, while providing a fully online backup plan if not able to travel.
