St. Louis…The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) has recognized Standard Electric Supply Co. for Excellence in Talent Development. The Milwaukee-based distributor has developed an approach aimed at successfully onboarding new associates as well as helping current ones identify and reach their own professional goals.
We’re making sure people have that opportunity to learn, while at the same time, we’re showing them we are committed to their success,” Cassie Petty, vice president, HR and Quality Assurance at Standard said, via tED magazine. “Our goal all along has been to create a sustainable, customized program. It looks totally different from where we started 20-plus years ago with our training.”
NAED’s Excellence in Talent Development award is presented in recognition of a distributor company that has been exceptionally active in the area of training and development in their company.
Standard Electric was honored during the 2019 NAED National Meeting in San Francisco on Sunday, May 4, 2019.
