Congress has returned from the August recess and the immediate concerns of hurricanes Harvey and Irma have postponed starting on the promised tax reform. In addition, President Trump has come to an agreement with Congressional Democrats that raises the debt ceiling and funds the Government, but those issues will need to be taken up again in three months.
